- By registering an account and playing on LifeMU, players are considered to have read, understood, and agreed to comply with the server rules.
- Players are responsible for protecting their accounts, passwords, and related information.
- Players should not share their accounts unless they accept the risks involved. The LifeMU Administration Team will not be responsible for losses resulting from voluntarily sharing account information.
- Impersonating Administrators, GMs, or members of the LifeMU team is strictly prohibited.
2. Cheats and Unauthorized Software
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Hacks, cheats, or other cheating software.
- Unauthorized software that interferes with the game client.
- Tools or methods that exploit bugs to gain an unfair advantage.
- Automation methods that are not permitted by LifeMU.
- Any method used to bypass account, HWID, or other technical limitations imposed by the server.
Depending on the severity of the violation, penalties may include a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent account ban.
3. Bug Exploitation
- Players who discover a game bug should report it to the Administration Team.
- Intentionally exploiting, repeatedly using, or distributing information about a bug to obtain EXP, Zen, LC, items, points, or any unintended advantage is prohibited.
- Items or benefits obtained through bug exploitation may be removed.
- Serious or intentional exploitation may result in suspension or permanent bans for all related accounts.
4. Player-to-Player Trading
- Players are responsible for checking items, quantities, values, and conditions before confirming a trade.
- The Administration Team is generally not responsible for voluntarily confirmed trades unless fraud, exploitation, or another violation of server rules is involved.
- Scamming, impersonation, and intentionally providing false information to steal another player's account or items are prohibited.
- Real-money trading of accounts, items, or in-game currencies is permitted only when specifically allowed by LifeMU.
5. Community and Communication
Players must not:
- Seriously insult, threaten, or harass other players.
- Repeatedly spam or intentionally disrupt community channels.
- Distribute malicious, fraudulent, or dangerous content or links.
- Impersonate official LifeMU announcements.
- Advertise other MU Online servers without permission from the Administration Team.
Normal arguments, competition, PK, and in-game rivalries are acceptable as long as they do not violate the community rules.
6. PK and In-Game Competition
- PK is part of MU Online and is permitted in areas or servers where PK is enabled.
- Competition over hunting spots, Bosses, events, Guild Wars, and other competitive activities is considered part of normal gameplay.
- The Administration Team will generally not interfere with legitimate gameplay disputes between players.
- Exploiting bugs or abnormal methods to intentionally disrupt other players may result in penalties.
7. Events and Rewards
- Individual events may have their own specific rules.
- Players must meet all event requirements to qualify for rewards.
- Cheating, manipulating results, exploiting bugs, or colluding to unfairly influence an event may result in reward cancellation and account penalties.
- In the event of a dispute, system data and server logs may be used as the primary basis for verification.
8. Penalties
Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, LifeMU may apply:
Warning → Temporary Suspension → Removal of Items/Benefits → Permanent Account Ban.
For serious violations affecting the server, its systems, or the in-game economy, the Administration Team may take immediate action without issuing a prior warning.
9. Rule Changes and Updates
- LifeMU reserves the right to update these rules when necessary for server operation and community management.
- Significant changes will be announced through LifeMU's official channels.
- Continuing to play after an update means that the player accepts the latest version of the rules.
Play fair, respect the community, and help us build a long-lasting, competitive, and enjoyable LifeMU environment.
